The Port Elgin Chrysler ’22 Ontario Tankard Presented by Bruce Power concluded Sunday afternoon.
The Glenn Howard rink from the Penetanguishene Curling Club defeated John Epping of Leaside 5-3 in the Ontario Men’s Curling Championship Final at The Plex in Port Elgin.
Doug Flowers, the chair of the Steering Committee, spoke to Fred Wallace following the Tankard and was extremely pleased with the way the Tankard unfolded.
The Glenn Howard rink will represent Ontario at the 2022 Tim Hortons Brier which begins March 4th in Lethbridge, Alberta.
The Port Elgin Curling Club is in talks with CurlOn pertaining to hosting the Tankard again, perhaps as soon as next year.
